I have spent the last 10 days re-watching J.P. Morgan Healthcare presentations, recording them1 , reviewing slide decks, and drilling down on new ideas with unique moats for 2026. I wanted to highlight the presentation and idea that has surprised me the most so far from that week. Normally, I wouldn’t rush to invest in oncology given the highly competitive environment that is usually involved.
But I believe I have an oncology name with a unique target and modality, imminent data, massive Total Addressable Market, and reasonable valuation given what they have proven so far. While it is still riskier than most of my other investments which usually have a “high floor” (very little risk of ruin) I feel the upside potential overwhelmingly justifies the greater risk.
