Hey everyone, I was moving this week and am in the process of selling a house. On top of dealing with the pains of moving, I just got wi-fi at the new place earlier today. Still, I set the goal to publish every week this year and I really want to stick with that, “come hell or high water”…

So I thought I would do a brief post today on the recent SpringWorks acquistion rumor and how I think I will handle position sizing here. I know this is not as long or fact-based as the usual posts I have been doing this year but it is fun to celebrate a stock I have written a lot about in late 2024/early 2025 going on such a great run.

SpringWorks (SWTX) is one of my most covered stocks on this Substack. In fact, I could easily say I have wrote more about SWTX than anyone on Substack because I don’t think there are too many biotech newsletters on here (yet) but I am pretty proud of showcasing the value here and consistently mentioning it as one of my largest positions before the acquistion rumors leaked on Monday — in fact, it was a centerpiece of last week’s article “Biotech Investors Are Completely Missing Something Right Now.” It is a centerpiece of the 2025 “No Trades” portfolio which is now showing marked outperformance less than two months since inception.

So, what now? What’s the strategy from here?
